"A woman without her man is nothing"
on the chalkboard and asked his students to punctuate it correctly...
All of the males in the class wrote:
"A woman, without her man, is nothing."
All the females in the class wrote:
"A woman: without her, man is nothing."
Punctuation is powerful!
